How do you pass the time as a passenger on a long journey?

Is it just me who sometimes uses the time to experiment taking photos?

Car journey’s, train journey’s make perfect time for this.

I play with different settings on the camera, use the time to learn and explore.

I love the abstract blur of the landscape passing by, of the vehicles, of the lights, of the lines.

The images are usually deleted but sometimes there are one or two that catch my eye.
