Hello, I’m Helen, a mixed media artist, bookbinder, crafter and maker.
As a carpenter’s daughter, making is in my DNA and I am driven by a love of materials and process.
Enjoying the variety and sensory quality of both the traditional and unconventional, I like to allow my work to evolve organically from my chosen or found materials.
I have a ‘mid-life’ degree in Fine Art, a passion for bookbinding, a life long love of making, with a professional background in healthcare and education.

The Tour de France has been a summer highlight for 40 years now!
