Where are you based?

Near to Cambridge UK.  This is where original works are shipped from. 

I use Prodigi for my art prints who print and ship from the UK

 

Do you ship internationally?

Sorry, no, not at the present time.  UK orders only.

 

What are my payment options?

My website is hosted with Shopify which offers a variety of familiar secure payment options.

 

When will I receive my order?

Direct from me - I try to process your order within 2-3 working days and post via Royal Mail Tracked 48 service, so you can expect to receive your order within approximately 6 working days.

Direct from Prodigi - Confirmed orders are sent direct to Prodigi.  Production is 24-72hrs and then posted Royal Mail Standard Shipping 2-3 working days.  So again, you can expect to receive your order within approximately 6 working days.

 

How will my order be packaged?

Direct from me - I ship in card backed envelopes, C4 or C5

Prodigi - either card backed envelopes or cardboard mailer tubes, where the print is also wrapped in tissue paper.

 

Can I return an original artwork if I change my mind?

Direct from me - Yes.  Please contact me via email within 30 days upon receiving your item.  You are responsible for the shipping charges when returning an unwanted item.  When the item is back with me, in its original condition, I will issue a full refund, minus any shipping costs. 

If the item is returned due to some fault on my part, I will take care of the return shipping cost. 

 

Can I return an art print?

Statement from Prodigi FAQ page

“sorry we do not accept returns of unwanted items. However, in cases where items are damaged or incorrect, we may collect them for further investigation.

If a customer returns a print due to an error on our part, we will handle the return and refund at our own expense. However, if a customer returns a print for a refund for any other reason, such as a change of mind or a problem not related to our service, then the refund will be at your own expense as the merchant.”

What happens if an item is damaged during shipping?

I pack with the best care I can, using card envelopes and cellophane sleeves.  If any damage to the package is due to fault on my part, I will of course do my best to replace the item or issue a refund.  Please email me as soon as possible with details and photographs of any damage.

If the package was mishandled by the postal service, we may be eligible for compensation.  Please email me as soon as possible with details and photographs so we can investigate further.  

 

Product details say 'found paper'.  What is found paper?

I define found paper as any type of pre-used paper.  Typically I like to use newspaper, envelope paper, paper bag paper, book page paper and packaging paper.

 

Product details say 'surface mounted'.  What does this mean?

If the artwork is created on more fragile paper, typically the found papers, I will often attach these onto the surface of thicker pieces of paper or card, slightly larger than the artwork itself.  This gives stability to the artwork but also the impression of having a mount or mat board surround.  You can choose to frame these pieces with or without a mount or mat board.
