Tea Sketches

A selection of prints taken from my ongoing daily tea sketch project.  

Tea is such an integral part of my life, my love of tea, the ritual, the comfort, the culture, the pleasure.  It seems only natural that it should also be part of my art.  

These daily sketches are created in A5 sized landscape sketchbooks, often in pen and ink, sometimes in other media.  Most depict my small tea tray with pot and mug.  Some use reference imagery, my own photographs or other sources.  A few are from memory.
